1Information We Collect
We collect personal information necessary for the provision of our services. This includes: (a) Data provided directly: name, email, and your pet's biographical data. (b) Third-Party Service Data: If you choose to register or log in through Google, we will receive your name, email address, profile picture, and the unique identifier provided by Google to securely authenticate your access.
2Use of Google Data
Data obtained through Google services is used exclusively to: (1) Create and manage your PetControl user account. (2) Personalize the experience within the application. (3) Provide technical support and service-related communications. PetControl does NOT use Google user data for targeted advertising, sale to third parties, creation of external databases, or training of AI models outside of the direct wellness functionality for your pet.
3Data Sharing and Disclosure
PetControl does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. We only share data with essential service providers (such as Polar.sh for payments or Supabase for storage) to the extent necessary to operate the platform, always under strict confidentiality standards.
4Data Security and Protection
We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your information. We use world-class infrastructure (Supabase/Google Cloud) with data encryption at rest and in transit. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal data as long as your account is active or necessary to provide services to you. You have the right to: (1) Access your data. (2) Rectify inaccurate information. (3) Request total deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the App settings panel or by emailing our support team. Upon deleting your account, linked Google data will be disconnected and erased from our active systems.
6Children's Privacy
PetControl does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If we detect such information, we will proceed to its immediate deletion.
